MEET OUR FOUNDER & OWNER
Karen Maier, MS, RD
Nutri-Serve's Founder/Owner & President
Karen has been in the School Food Service Management Industry since 1976. She is the designer of LAMS, the computer school food service software used by Nutri-Serve. Nutri-Serve Food Management, Inc. was founded on March 31, 1987. She is a registered dietitian, having received her Master of Science degree in Food Service Administration from Rutgers University in 1979. Karen received her undergraduate degree Cum Laude, from Indiana University of Pennsylvania in Food and Nutrition in 1976. She is also certified to teach in NJ Vocations Schools - Food Production and Food Management.

We believe that a successful food service program is built on the foundation of a cohesive, hardworking staff with positive morale. Nutri-Serve’s rapid growth over our 30 years is indicative of our success in effectively managing and motivating employees throughout the company.
Nutri-Serve believes that serving students nutritious meals in a nurturing manner is key to our success. Also, excellent customer service extends beyond pleasing current customers. True customer service is developing and maintaining positive relationships with all who come in contact with the food service operation. We encourage our employees to show exceptional customer service when dealing with students, school personnel, parents and vendors.
